Description
The ResMed Lumis 150 VPAP ST is a non-invasive ventilator designed for non-dependent patients with obstructive or restrictive respiratory conditions. It features ResMed’s unique volume-assurance mode, iVAPS (intelligent Volume-Assured Pressure Support), which maintains target alveolar ventilation to suit each patient’s changing needs. The device also includes an intelligent Backup Rate (iBR) and an optional AutoEPAP, which continuously monitor ventilation and the upper airway.
The Lumis 150 VPAP ST supports various modes, including CPAP, S, ST, T, PAC, and iVAPS. It operates at a pressure level of 4 cmH2O to 25 cmH2O and has a typical power consumption of 53W. The device dimensions are 116mm x 255mm x 150mm, and it includes a built-in heated humidifier with a 380ml water capacity.
The Lumis 150 VPAP ST is equipped with wireless connectivity to ResMed’s cloud-based patient management system, AirView, for remote monitoring. It also features an Easy-Breathe motor, making it super quiet, and it includes Vsync Technology to monitor and counterbalance mask leaks during the night.
The device is FAA approved and meets the requirements of RTca/DO-160, section 21 category M) for all phases of aircraft use. It can accept up to 15 L/min of supplemental oxygen and is compatible with ClimateLineAir Heated Tubing to keep humidified therapy air warm as it moves from the machine to the mask.
