Description

The Stryker 1588 AIM Camera System is a high-definition camera system designed to help distinguish critical anatomy with 9 dedicated surgical camera specialty settings and 5 advanced imaging modalities: ENV, IRIS, Clarity, DRE, and DESAT.

This system is known for its improved image and advanced color separation, providing levels of detail never seen before in an endoscopic camera It has nine distinct modes to cater to a variety of surgical specialty settings, enhancing visualization across multiple specialties.

The 1588 AIM platform includes technological advancements that change the way the surgical field is visualized. It is designed to improve patient outcomes by offering premium optics with uncompromised platform integration and cross-specialty functionality, as well as advanced imaging capabilities.

The AIM platform is also unique in that it integrates hardware and software design, ensuring better overall performance of its products. It utilizes a LED Light Source with Safe light Technology that provides cooler light emissions and incorporates an automatic shut-off when the light cord is removed from the scope.

In addition, the 1588 AIM can be combined with SPY Fluorescence technology, allowing surgeons to visualize anatomy and blood flow during a variety of minimally invasive and open procedures. This combination provides improved customization and visualization for the surgical team, maximizing efficiency and outcomes in the operating room.

The system includes several advanced imaging modalities:
– ENV (Endoscopic Near Infrared Visualization): Designed to reduce the risk of common bile duct injury during laparoscopic cholecystectomies by safeguarding critical anatomy and reducing the risk of anastomotic leaks during gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy
– IRIS (Infrared Illumination System): A visualization technology designed to reduce the risk of ureteral damage
– Clarity: A device for real-time video enhancement designed to improve visualization of anatomy by enhancing tissue level detail and intra-body structures. It assists physicians in visualizing through smoke and murky fluids
– DRE (Dynamic Range Enhancement): Designed to improve visualization in the surgical field by creating a brighter image in dark and posterior compartments by up to 150%
– DESAT: An advanced imaging modality that decreases the saturation of color in the image to the level preferred by the surgeon

The Stryker 1588 AIM Camera System is suitable for various surgical specialties including laparoscopy, arthroscopy, urology, gynecology, ENT, and GI surgeries, providing enhanced visualization of patient anatomy.
