The Maquet Data Scope CS 300 is an Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) machine designed to provide circulatory support to patients with cardiac conditions. It features IntelliSense technology, which combines fiber-optic speed with automatic in vivo calibration, leading to faster therapy times, faster signal acquisition, and quicker adaptation to rate and rhythm changes. The CS 300 is the only fiber-optic IABP and catheter system that automatically calibrates in the patient after insertion and recalibrates in vivo every two hours or sooner if conditions change Additionally, the INTELLISENSE™ software emulates an experienced user, allowing clinicians to focus more on their patients by automatically selecting the best lead and trigger source and setting optimal inflation and deflation timings
